When I was a kid, anytime they wanted to make something sound futuristic they'd add a 2000 to it. The Vacu-Suck 2000, The Mower Master 2000, The Tupperware Caddy 2000.
They did this because the year 2000 seemed so far away that it represented everything about the future. It seemed unfathomable that we'd live in or past the year 2000.
Now 2000 has come and gone. So what do we have to make something sound futuristic now? What time do we think will never come? May I recommend "The Vacu-Suck one day Bush won't be president anymore."
Ooh, political commentary. Nice.
Saw a bumper sticker the other day that read, "Vote Democratic: It's Easier Than Finding A Job."

Ooh, fun. I saw a bumper sticker the other day: "Vote Republican: And Maybe We Won't Come After Your Ass Just Yet."

I haven't seen any interesting bumper stickers lately, but I'd like to point out that this trick still works today if you replace "Bush" with "Trump".
