I tried to get a good mix of detail-focused rules and content-focused rules. I also tried to make it so that it should be easy enough to do a little internet reasearch if you don't have the requisite knowledge.
I would say that about half of the rules fall into each category, but the distinction is blurry in some cases, so I don't want to confuse anyone by giving actual numbers.
I think two rules require previous knowledge. One you've got (see below). The other may be more obscure than I first thought. I'm trying to make it suggest itself.
quote:
Speaking of patterns, this one jumped out right off the bat. Since all four of your first comics followed it, I was sure it was a rule and not just a mistake.
I thought the background had to fall alphabetically between both the character groups and the characters.
Wow. That's pure accident. I would never have even thought to look for that.
Rule 1: At least one prop must appear.
Nope. I think I just have a tendency to use those words a lot in dialogue.
Rule 6: The text must include the name of the victim or perpetrator of a famous successful assassination.
I was worried non-Americans would have trouble, not with this rule, but with the fact that I could only think of American examples. I searched Google for "assassination" and eliminated the names of people I'd already used, and the remaining pickings were pretty slim. I think John Lennon, who you may or may not think of as an assassination victim, is the only good choice left.
Nope.
No, I just like DexX's characters.
No, not necessarily thinking too much, but also not a rule.
The score:
Gabe - 3
Everyone else - 0
There's still plenty of time to get your guesses in, folks.

The what mentioned above is total fiction. Please don't take it seriously!
