So May 6-8th we were planning on going camping and getting really drunk for my birthday, mostly because our schedules allow us to take that time off. We will be staying at the Watkins Woolen Mill State Park & State Historic Site in beautiful Lawson, MO. That is, unless we decide that Weston Bend is a better camping destination. (Both located in about the same area). I'm making my camping reservations soon, so commit or forget it.
Some of the trip stops on our journey include Jesse James's home, the Watkins Mill on the campsite (who give tours on the even numbered hours), and possibly an old jailhouse if I can learn to read my mom's handwriting by then.
If you guys are serious campers and or history buffs (or you just want to know how to make scrambled eggs in the middle of the woods), let me know and I'll arrange a space for you. Our tent can easily fit 6 adults and we have dividers in case you need privacy.

I'm almost positive this is where we're going. History and sleeping on grass, what could be better?
