It's TBZ's turn to set the rules etc for the next match. I dunno what's keeping him.

It better be death. If not, I could fix that for him. Hey, I just had a brilliant thought. How about sending out email notifications? I think at the beginning of each new round you should send out four to the two pairs that'll be competing, and then as soon as both have posted their comics, you could send out another to everyone saying it's time to vote.

I've been really lazy about reading any of the forums lately, much less this one, and I keep worrying that I'll miss something. Like my turn, which I think is coming up next.

Match 10: gabeite vs. the men

Your mission: We'll have a brief intermission from the main story. For this match, present us with an amusing explanation for TheBlairZip's absence.

Your rules:
1. From Scyess: each comic must contain some ficitonal euphemism or cliche that sounds real but isn't, such as "Even a dog can eat quiche", or "You can fly that in the wind on a string!"
2. From Namgubed: each comic must contain one of each of the following backgrounds: plain (solid colairs, diesel, none, splitter); photo (taken from actual photo); drawn (bedroom, apocolypse, etc.)

You have 24 hours.
