Today I checked my queue at Netflix. They sent me an extra DVD (I pay for 3, they've sent me 4). Scratching my head, I see a link for a popup - "Why do I have an extra DVD?" I clicked the link and the popup informed me that I had an extra DVD because they sent it to me.

Today, I got an email from Netflix. It explained that one of my movies was being mailed from someplace far, far away. I would take four days to get here, it was so far away. So they sent me an extra DVD from my local Netflix (seriously, there's a Netflix distribution center about 3 miles from my house) to help me through the pain of having only 2 DVDs from Netflix.

Christ that's low scoring. You don't happen to coach a girls team do you? 

 

No, it's boys.  Unfortunately none of them are over 5'4 and only two out of the ten boys I coach have previous basketball experience. Playing basketball is a gigantic stretch for them.

I can almost say the same thing for the opposing team.

I'm no Jeff Van Gundy but I was damn proud of the boys and myself. It's also my first real season coaching.
