The IT department at my college beats some games. They blocked Steam (or the ports required for it), so I can't activate my Orange Box games until the next time I take my computer home (fortunately, I activated Portal and HL2 last time I was home, but I have to wait on Episodes 1&2 and Team Fortress 2). Anyway, Thief II (the game I'm currently playing) beats overly-agressive IT departments because it doesn't need no stinkin' Internet access.
