Only if you define "can't handle criticism" as "bursting into tears and locking myself in the bathroom for three hours then devouring a gallon of ice cream between sobs whenever someone doesn't like my work".

Seriously, I know my manga-ish style doesn't work for everyone and I don't expect everyone to like what I draw. As long as they're respectful about it I'm fine, but I'll give as bad as I get if they're snotty with the criticism.

Because of the way HC gave the outlines to me, I'm thinking of making three or four distinct facial expressions for each character, so we can depict changes in mood without being forced to use Maura.

Suggestions? As they're HC's characters, he gets power of veto.

In that folder I put four expressions for each: "Angry", "Happy", "Hesitant/Neutral", and "Devious/Evil/Nudge Nudge Wink Wink Know What I Mean?". So go ahead DexX.

Yeah, I deleted her mouth and eyebrows before colouring, then drew them back in on their own layer at the end of the process. I can easily replace them with other mouths and eyebrows instead. Eye-shape can be changed, too, but that will be a little bit harder.

The eyes stay the same. The mouths and eyebrows change a bit every time I draw those guys, but the eyes stay the same.
