Even so, it reminds me of a sort of code that some friends of mine used years ago as a joke. They called it nothumbspeak, and it was, quite simply, pig latin with no spaces, capitals, or punctuation.

My wife hates it - it gives her a headache to just look at it. x-pac's comics and postings are similar - after reading a couple, I think it is safe to not read any more, since it has not so far been worth the bother.

Now, I figure that any troll who thinks he can gain some sort of recognition -- good or bad -- by writing crappy and annoying comics is going to have to realize, sooner or later, that that sort of thing is par for the course around here. Like Slashdot, StripCreator is largely troll-proof, because who can tell the difference between a troll -- who tries to irritate people with repetition, gimmicks, or offensiveness -- and a typical idiot user -- who honestly thinks that repetition, gimmicks, or offensiveness are funny? It's just not worth the effort to figure out whether we're supposed to be bothered by some teenaged hobgoblin's antics or despondent about another failure of the education system.

But xpac here is worse than a troll -- worse than some anonymous, talentless loser shouting to make himself heard over the screams of thousands of other anonymous, talentless losers -- because of his comic jackinoff. Here's a comic that would actually, truly be funny, if only its author would USE THE FUCKING KEYBOARD PROPERLY. But because he's a tool, he's willfully ruined a potentially great piece of comedy.

And I think that's a fucking tragedy.

Okay, Mr Pac - question time. Why are you here? Why are you making comics? Why are you posting to the forum? Why are you posting your strips to the forum?

It has been made perfectly clear to you that this gimmick of yours is a pain in the arse. Any humour or wit your strips or postings might contain is diluted by your obnoxious gimmick. Now, the answers to the previous questions are relevant at this point...

Do you want people you read you strips and postings?

Do you want them to enjoy your strips and postings?

If so, you'd better give this gimmick of yours the arse, because it is not assisting our enjoyment in any way. It is an annoyance, and people will not subject themselves to annoyance for very long if they can avoid it. As such, if you keep up this wretched gimmick, nobody will bother to read anything you may contribute. If that happens, what is the point of contributing in the first place?

Of course, you may not actually want people to read your strips and postings, in which case this gimmick of yours is purely for your own entertainment. It would then follow that you shouldn't give a flying fuck what we think about you or your gimmick.

Hey, I don't really care who makes crappy comics. Like I said, they all kind of blur together. It's just that my doctor says I have to flame someone once a month or my brain will explode.

On the other hand, xpac, you do have some real potential there, and it would be great if you could, you know, use it to make something that people would enjoy reading.
