true story:
I now live with a guy I'll call Ivan. As a favor to a friend, we babysat the friend's dog, Juniper, over the last 4-5 days while the friend was out of town.
Juniper is very sweet, but old, blind in one eye, going deaf, and has hip problems which make her move very slowly. she's also a long haired large (70 lb) dog, which means she mops up dirt and dust with her hair and then releases it on the rugs, which she also sheds on. Also, she farts a lot; terrible I-just-ate-3-bulbs-of-garlic,along-with-some-asparagus farts.
Luckily, it was on day 2 of Juniper's stay that I got the msg that Dexx was coming to town and needed a place to stay in Seattle. I was worried Ivan wouldn't go for the idea of sharing the house with some crocodile-hunting, Fightin'-round-the-world Aussie I'd never met, but he said, well, if you'll put up with Juniper for 4 days, I'm sure I can put up with your friend for 2 days.
So Dexx, assuming you fart and shed somewhat less than Juniper did, we'll be glad to have you here. Also, please don't bark at the cats.
