I'm working on my fanatic, I swear. I've been playtesting recipes off and on for months. I threw out the idea of making it represent my personality and I'm going through die skills that I like.

Kaddar drew me in a mentor game and proceeded to kick my ass. I don't know what it says about me that I consistently do poorly in mentor games.

If by need help on the image you mean need me to do a button for you out of one of those images, I can do that. I'd say the second (guy on the lefT). I like the third, but the second looks better for the site. The one on the right in the second looks too much like hot soup.

I can color one/make it a button if you need me too, or I can send you the .psd file for the icon.

Well, if you're willing to do the work yourself, I'll take the offer, since I'm pretty sure the public computers I use can't handle image editing.

And I know what image I want: the color pic AND the version of me you liked from the second pic, back-to-back, separated by the Splitter. It'll probably have to be close-ups to make them look good when they're sharing space like that, but oh well. My flavor text says I have multiple personalities, and I can say one of them represents my Warrior dice or something.

My formula hasn't been approved by Skeeve yet, but it's currently fs6, pz12, gd10, T, `Z!, `R! and you can represent the different die types however you want, so long as the Warriors are done the usual way.

Thanks profusely, and I hope this isn't too much work... I'm sure you're not looking forward to every SCer asking you for this sort of thing.

This is the final version, if you don't like it, I'll send ya the .psd version with layers so you can make changes/fix the dice combo.

I like... I'll change a couple of things about it (Warriors are represented by diamond shapes on the opposite side of the button, and some of the colors are off, thanks to a mistake by the guy who did the Nnyovid pic) and it'll be finished.

I'm glad that they've decided to remove Lascivia from TL status. I've fought against her (purpously) many times lately, and the only characters I've had any luck against her with are Wastenott and Peace, who seem to have a somewhat decent shot actually.

As for Bennett, I recently beat him in the finals of a tournament with Bruno. The stats page says I beat some incredible odds, but I think the fact that I set his swing to 20 was the only thing I really needed to do it. I am seriously loving the fact that when his berzerk dice go berzerk, it makes him worth fewer points to capture. That actually won me one of the rounds in that tournament. Of course I also recently beat Bennett with a thorougly average button from Samurai who has never yet beaten Bennett until that match.

As for why I don't have a fanatic yet, I'm still testing mine. It's tough to make it both balanced and yet representative of my persona.

I've considered this picture for my fanatic when it's done (the recipie is way out of date though).

I'm not sure if I should use that image though, or perhaps this one:

Drexle, I'm not sure which image I'd vote for. I like the second one better aesthetically, but the first one does look more like you're about to hurt someone.

I tend to agree. I'm trying to find a pic that looks not only like I'm going to beat someone up, but also looks cooler than the one I currently have. It's tough to find one that looks just right.

Here's the latest recipie, still untested:

Er, sorry. But, anyway, I can't remember why. It could be that I've been mistakenly thinking of "PIC" as a file extension; you'll see me call them "JP(E)Gs" and "GIFs." And I do that because I'm used to MS-DOS, where they capitalize all the filenames and extensions.

I think PIC is a file extension, just not a common one.

OF course, there's little chance it'll ever be added, because I made up a new die type in it, unless any of you are good friends with skeeve. :D

I think I'm getting better, I moved up to a 1 win to 2 loss ratio from my 1 win to 3 loss ratio. Hopefully I can make it better than 1:1 before I have enough games for a fanatic.

You probaly will. I started 2-0, and then sunk to 4-14 or so. And last night I broke W - L > 40 for the first time.

Well, the button image won't come up on the computer I'm using right now, but I'll get the chance to try it on a different comp in a day or two.

If it doesn't work there either, I'll have to get Kaddar to make the nitpicking changes I want. Sigh.

For what it's worth, I just won the degenerate Third Bracket of the SCBM tournament. NeoVid was runner-up.

I believe that means Gabe and Dan owe me some clues to a few of the harder Eggs.

Let's just say I'm open to ideas on both fronts; my lack of artistic composition ability especially is likely to hamper me from the latter.
