I never said there was a pre-war link from Al-Qaeda to Iraq, and the administration has actually stated this is the case.
Also I said several times, over and over, that I didn't even think Bush should have mentioned WMDs being present in Iraq, because it would look bad if they weren't found, and only be of benefit to the P.R. of the war if they were. I said it was a mistake to spin the WMD evidence the way it was spun..
Sorry, wouldn't have known that. I don't actually read your posts (grin).
Actually, the article makes me wonder -- which came first, the chicken or the egg? Do people have those misconceptions because they watch Fox? Or do people who are inclined to have those misconceptions flock there? And if so, why? (chicken/egg/chicken/egg).
Likewise, is the NPR News crowd liberal because they listen to NPR, or do liberal people happen to flock there for some reason? As a liberal/moderate who listens to NPR, I honestly don't sense any bias. I would suppose that someone who likes Fox doesn't sense any bias on Fox. I knowa guy who actually buys the "fair and balanced" schtick, hook, line, and sinker.
On the other hand, as an NPR listener I find TV news coverage to be appallingly superficial.
