Hey Spankling, wasn't that picture taken right before Kerry tripped over a Secret Service agent -who selflessly swears to protect Kerry's life with his own- and said "Get out of my way you jack-booted working-class faggot"?

In all defense Kerry thought his photo-op was ruined at the time, but it sounds like no one has a picture of that fall. Thank goodness for Kerry.

Fuzzy, I work in New Haven. He kinda IS my governor. This whole state is filled with corrupt politicians. Wasn't it in Westport or somewhere that begins with a W in Connecticut that the mayor is on trial for giving drugs to a crack mom in order to receive fellatio from her preteen daughters?

I was having some fun also.

I do seriously wonder how much good versus bad killing this man does. He's not a head of state, but does it not rile up his base more by sending a rocket into his chair? What happened to the good old days of exiling Arafat, and then exiling him from his exile and etc. etc.?

To that end, I wonder how much good right out and publicly killing Osama would do. It is probably not a well kept-secret many Arabs idolize him. I do see the plus side of making it scary to be a leader of a terrorist organization, believing this will stop the organiztion is just a pipe dream though. (And I think everyone knows this is a dangerous occupation in the first place).

If anyone was watching the 9-11 trials yesterday, deputy secretary Wolfowitz brought up a good point about not ignoring dangerous rhetoric (in the context of Al-Qaeda and pre-Iraq War Saddam rhetoric), referencing Hitler's rhetoric preceding him actually becoming a danger. I don't know how you defend the exitence of groups like Hamas when their rhetoric clearly speaks for themselves. I'd like to see a group operating in the U.S. with public rhetoric akin to "destroy everyone in Washington D.C." and see how long we tolerate them existing.

I have to wonder why it even matters that he was disabled. It's pretty hard to run from a guided missile, even with both legs working properly.

They all end up the same color when they splatter on the desert floor anyway.

All this aside, we shouldn't start attacking the rhetoric of other people just because you can cite examples of bad things happening afterwards. Guys who preach love and happiness can still turn around and incite an overthrow that kills millions of children. And before Mr. MaKK decides to break out his arsenal of misquotings and unspoken implication arguments, let me say that I do not know of any example where someone has preched love and happiness and then HAS gone out and killed millions of children. But it is infinitely possible in human nature.

I know people who used to spout rhetoric about literally killing entire races of people just because most of them seemed too unruly. At least one of these people is a drug counselor now. MaKK, you can play 'Will He or Won't He' with anyone in power.

If we want to examine dangerous rhetoric, in my opinion, there has been none more dangerous to this country than the rhetoric of Bush and his cronies.

What are you talking about? We were talking about certain rhetoric being dangerous because it could lead to nasty actions. I am saying that not every kid in elementary school who draws pictures of stabbing a teacher is going to get up and murder someone. Do you not get the corrolation?
