Get "O Fortuna" (from the "Carmina Burana") by Carl Orff - it's dark, orchestral and choral, all at once! Genius.

Bach's Little Fugue in G minor. Not technically Classical, but I think it's what you're looking for, i.e., fucking awesome.

I dunno if this falls into the "classical, dark, goth" category, but may I suggest Switchblade Symphony?

If I remember right, Orpheus in the Underworld by Offenbach is pretty dark. But that might be more an overture than a requiem.

Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky may work for you too, though it may be more badass than dark, I can't remember.

When I think of Vivaldi, I think of "Four Seasons", Spring which is like the anti-goth.

Though, come to think of it, I don't remember hearing Fall or Winter, so maybe the fucker goths it up during those dark months.

Frankly, Nate, I get really bored of happy music, really quickly. That's all I ever heard and performed in Choir. Gloria Domine, Jesu O Holy Father and such. I want to hear some good old dark sounding stuff, good for just creating images in my mind. I'm sorry, but Ode to Joy does not create any imagery in my head. It just reminds me of stupid commercials where happy couples walk off in the green grass together. Screw that.

Also, Nate, keep in mind the other types of music I listen to. The only country I like is Johnny Cash. I am a big fan of Black and Gothic metal. I like some older gothic rock bands. I like darker rock in general. Basically, I like dark, depressing music. It makes me feel happy.

Don't expect it to make sense, just take it as it is.
