Okay, we need to get a few things straight for everyone. This is the general forum, for general.. discussion. Not too hard. We don't post comics here. We don't host photoshop contests here. We just discuss events, stripcreator, or Spankling's hot ass. Sometimes, we even post links and laugh at them because the internet is home to hundreds of thousands of brain-dead idiots who make us laugh, and cry.

So please, post what's appropriate here.

Also, we do have children visiting this site. We're none of us babysitters, and I doubt anyone here wants some stupid rules about not posting adult content, but for everyone's sake, please make your topics clear, and be sure to give a warning if there is sexual content, disturbing content, or christian content in your thread.
I understand that you can't predict others' actions regarding posts in a thread you start, but I know the last thing I want to see when I look at the first message in a thread is GOATSE MAN'S ANUS. Or something like that there.

And Brad, if you could make this sticky or something, it might be helpful.

I was trying to be a little lighthearted with the requests. They're really not rules. I can't make, nor enforce rules. I was just making "suggestions" to everyone, based on what I know about the site.

I think, actually, we should make our threads a little clearer, and avoid political, religious, or cultural debates in this forum. That's why we have "Fights Go Here".

Several have "violated" the general undertanding of these forums. I'm not pissed or anything, I just felt the purpose of the forums needed a little clairifying. I can see them being a little bit confusing when someone first comes here, so I just thought it would be nice to have some reminders.

While the occasional troll wanders through, those posts can easily be avoided. I think things are fine the way they are, and I like this place because censorship doesn't run wild like it does at some other sites. I think it would be a shame to include warnings or other silly labels. I would feel like I'm in a CD store.

The reason I donated to this site and will continue to donate is because of the laissez-faire attitude here. There ARE rules, and no one should get too crazy, but generally, this is a fucking awesome medium for comedic material. And punny, punny shit. I don't want to see it restricted in any way. I think it's perfect.
