Heights marginally scare me more than most people, but I can deal with them. I just won't get too close to the edge. I get overly cautious when I'm up really high.
Unknown insects. Things that look like they could be dangerous (some spiders, scorpions, certain large beetles) and snakes I don't know to be harmless.
People who are just a little *too* happy freak me right the fuck out.
Strangulation. I can't even wear a necklace, it makes me feel constricted. That's why I HATE ties. They make me feel like I can't breathe. I know that's common, but I'm talking, I will start getting freaked out after a while. And someone's hand coming anywhere near my neck makes me feel like I'm choking already.
And barriers. When I'm driving, and I come up to a walled area (like when they're working) I always get freaked out, feeling like I'm gonna hit the wall or something. That was compounded further when I was going down to San Fran for a show once. We heard this tremendous "THUNK, SHATTER" sound. We looked back and there was windshield all over our side of the road. Some idiot had slammed into the divider at a pretty good speed somehow. It was a damn mess. There were still pieces of the goddamn car that hit it all over the road the next day.
None of these are truly debilitating, but they are annoying. The only one that could really cause a problem is my claustrophobia. I saw an episode of Mythbusters where Adam was locked under a bunch of dirt for a few minutes, and I could feel my heart stopping... I can be okay in like, a closet or something, but I would have some severe problems if I were locked away in a tight space.
