Yeah, that was a great series.
Even though I started by trying to do a series-type comic without regard for punchlines, etc., I find that that kind of comics are usually so hard to get into.
Exceptions are if it's a repetitive joke like - was it kramervskramer who had the "decepticons" bit?. Or lima's "Bananatastic" series, because the layouts aren't packed with verbal information meant to explain stuff that isn't there visually. This one is laid out and paced perfectly, and takes advantage of the fact that even these kind of frankenstein-comics can look really good.
