That's what I had thought, too! But I had the log out option in the top right menu, not log in - in fact, that menu was just like I was logged in, but the rest of the site wasn't. And now it's OK here at home as well. Although it may have been the desktop. I'm on the laptop now. I'll check real quick.

Yep, it's my desktop. The blue menu shows me logged in. The rest of the site acts like I'm logged out. I'm going to log in and out to see if that fixes it.

Just in an attempt to contribute something actually helpful to this thread: I use Chrome at home and work, and I seem to recall that I recently had a similar issue in one of those places. Only in my case I actually was logged out, even though I never do that. But I just logged in and everything was back to normal.
So, whatever it was, let's assume/hope it was just a fluke.
