In some ways we already do this, but it might be fun to make it a little more structured. How about we start a serial comic? Basically we get a list of all the people interested in participating and somebody starts it off. The next person in line follows with a comic of their own, and so on until we loop back to the front of the line.

We'd try to stick with the same characters and plot line, but develop things a bit more than you could in a single comic. We already saw this happen with the beautiful 'Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road Saga', we just need to keep one going.

It couldn't be any worse than Brenda Starr or Mark Trail or any of those other lame ass comics that no one reads. (My apologies to any losers out there who read those comics. wirthling. (Ha! I actually put that slash in front of the second cough. I was gonna take it out but it's a testament to too much time spent on the computer.)

So... thoughts?

I'm in, but didn't this fall through due to lack of hustle when I suggested it a month or so ago? I seem to remember the discusions took it up to the point that we'd create a cycle of writers and keep going in order of the originl however-many and just tack on more people at the end of the cycle. I don't remember much else about it, and I'm too lazy to dig up the thread...

But, anyhow, yeah, the only thing that'd bar me from something like this would be if Al Gore's entire internet suddenly became non-existant.

PS- I didn't mean any disrespect at the beginning of this post, and also wonder if you're going to instigate a thread for prospective writers to "enter the fold", gabe.

Sorry. Just felt like ranting. Anyhoo, that might be pretty cool. Granted the chunk of people that participate in the comic contest probably make up about 98% of all the posts to the message boards anyway, but it might be nice to stick the contests off by themselves.

Anyone else got any thoughts on the matter?
