Linguistic crapping-on warning! - The following is boring linguistics shit of interest to nobody but DexX.
I wrote an essay ealy last year about the Lowland Scots dialect of English. One of the things that I actually remember from that bit of work was about how in a sentence where either the first and second words could be run together or the second and third, most English speakers will do the latter ("He isn't...") while Scots will usually do the former ("He's not..."). Couldn't help but notice this in comic four of the series.
