Hmm... Is there any way to fix the backgrounds in a strip? The first two panels in my latest comic don't seem to want to load all the way.

I guess not.

Which strip are you talking about? If it's this one, the graphics are loading fully, but the problem is that there's so much text in the last one that it stretches the height of the panel beyond the height of the background image. Your other recent strips look fine to me.

This is your comic. It makes no sense. they break out of jail and turn into Santa claus. That is not funny becasue it makes no sense whatsoever. The reader is left thinking why did they turn into santa claus? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?

Here is my comic of nearly the same theme. It isn't that funny, but it is part of a funny series. In an earlier comic I am tricked into a situation of captivity and torture for a SECOND time by a woman becasue women make me into a moron. Unlike yours mine contains a joke. See the joke is that one would think that after being sprung from the jail cell I wouldn't want to go back to the girl, but the charachter that portrays me can't see any other choice. It is a form of humor by exageration. As I said, it's not that funny but maybe you can compare the two strips that are of an identical theme and see where the joke should be, so that you might improve your own comic. Had the last pannel been two santa clauses or the two asian girls there would be no joke there.

I liked the Santa one too. It's absurd humor. The surprised look on the Santas' faces helps it work. If it had been Asian Girls instead of Santas, it would still have been funny, but maybe for a different reason.

Hmm....... Culture I'm not going to be a dick and rave about how your comic isn't funny. But I will say it wasn't my cup of joe.

As for my Breaking Out strip. You just don't get it. The funny part is THAT they turn into santa claus. And the shocked "what the hell just happened?" look on their faces. Now if you follow along with the 2nd and 3rd part of the strip you'll see they have themselves in a heap of trouble now.

But hey... you'll probably bitch about where to and not to put the joke in it so nevermind.

I need to send some money asap so I can delete some of my strips. I really regret that "Until the end of the world" strip now.

I don't know about later parts of your strips, but I think it works pretty well on it's own. Sure it might not make a lot of sense, but since when does something have to make sense to be funny?
