As the strip states, I'm leaving the university (and my e-mail account) this week. As I don't have a phone line at home, I'll be without internet connection. So until I find employment and settle into a new town, I'll be away.

I hope to be back soon. I want to thank you guys for your hospitality and to wish you well this holiday season.

My previous degree was in veterinary medicine. I just finished my PhD in Toxicology. My area of interest is food/water safety, specifically bacteria that causes gastrointestinal disease.

So next time you're crouched over the toilet puking your guts out, think of me.
