I wrote a private messaging system for Stripcreator today and it's now online. It still needs to be tweaked a bit and there may be horrible bugs I'm not aware of, but it all seems to work. More details to follow.

To private message someone, hit the 'pm' link either on their Stripcreator homepage under their name or on the bottom bar of one of their forum posts.

If you have private messages, you must be logged in to see them. You will see a notification on your homepage and also in the header of the forums. Click the notification and it will pop open your messages in another window. From there you can reply to and delete them.

My hope is that this system will allow regulars of the forums to reach out to people who have made some funny comics but haven't joined the forums. So that you can invite the people you want in the communtiy rather than being forced to constantly fight back the people you don't want.

I realize it will be used for negative feedback as well, which is fine. But if it turns into abuse (flooding, especially) you will be blocked from using the feature or banned from Stripcreator entirely. Use common sense and everything will be fine.
