Thanksgiving weekend at Mom's. Not getting any work done, reading books, playing online. Just like home, except dialup.
I saw a couple deer on the drive here but this year I didn't run into one.
Went out tonight. Bar #1: "Baxter's"$5 cover, had a coke, crowded, yuppie. Bar #2. $5 cover, g&t, it's a black bar now, not a gay bar. must update gaybarapedia.
Bar #3: boarded up. Came home and read another wodehouse novel. At bar #1, I saw someone who might have been carole's sister, or Liza Minelli, but i didn't ask.
Tomorrow we are skipping church but will go to a celtic harp orchestra thingy,
and i might get up the nerve to drop in on an ex-girlfriend, her second husband, three cats, 5 kids. Monday I line up some east coast screenings, or head home.
