Jay and Silent Bob was a self-referencing comedy with beloved side characters finally getting their own movie, which many fans had been asking for.
Mallrats was a commercial venture, yes, but I thought it was hillarious.
Chasing Amy was, in my opinion, boring. It was, as I saw it, a romantic comedy. I actually relate to Ben Affleck's character in that movie, too, and that's part of what depresses me in that movie. It also reminds me of what I have not.
Dogma was a good hollywood comedy. It was incredibly inaccurate regarding the religious aspects, but in general, I thought it was good.
Clerks was possibly the best of all the movies, but even it had drawbacks. I personally think the whole "black and white film" perspective was a little trite, and the catchphrases were somewhat forced down the viewer's throat ("Buncha savages in this town", "Thirty-Seven?!", "I'm not even supposed to be here today!"). That's not to say they don't have their value, and are, in fact, hillarious.
There ya go. My view, not that you care.
