To be honest, I don't quite get the point of these Newbie Contests. Why doesn't everyone just enter the proper ones?

New folk have just as much chance as anyone of winning a Comic Contest, if not even a slightly higher chance since nobody wants to see the same folk winning contests over and over. And now you have all the FTC comps, where they dish out all of those awards so everyone has a pretty good chance of getting something.

I mean, check out the newbie who won this contest back in the day.

The judges shouldn't care who you are, as long as you're funny.

It's true, it's true. Lately, n00bs have been cleaning up in the contest scene. biped won two competition, which is unfathomable, NooniePuuBunny just won another one, and YourMothersAss always wins.
