How else can I go about getting to be a forum character?

I have been having trouble falling asleep. Sam isn't home tonight and every creak and shadow in this apartment is making me jump because I've been reading a scary book for the past few hours. So, I decided to check usenet, email, and various forums to get my mind off this silly jumpiness... and I find something to actually be scared about.

I was out of town for the weekend and off-line, that's why I hadn't checked my email or here or anything. So I hadn't replied to DexX's email, which I finally did with a few nitpicks about the art, only then to log on here and see LadyJ thinks it's the spitting image, though it's not like she's actually seen me in the flesh or anything; I'm just her haunter after all :-), so I don't know what to think, other than damn, I can write good run-on sentences, so I just ask the artist to do something intelligent, and whatever he submits to Brohnny will be fine, I'm sure, or something.

I think the important fact that you have all overlooked is that I am really quite a crap artist. As such, if you ended up with a character that looks like it may possibly belong to the same species as you, then you're lucky. I could have drawn you as a dolphin...

Oh, and regarding the forward-leaning posture thing, that's just my... hmm, "style" may be too strong a word for it... that's just the way I draw cartoon people... well, this month...

Oh, crabby, about the pictures... You could put them on a website and send me the URL if you like - that's what LadyJ did. Not how I prefer to work, but it works well enough.

Chicka, try hanging around for longer than a day, huh? :) If you stick around and become a regular, then I will be happy to scribble up a crappy character that looks almost completely unlike you, just like I have done for the others.

I'm grateful for what I got. I appreciate that you think enough of me to even consider drawing me. I'm also happy that my hands aren't on backwards. :)

Well, I am vehemently opposed to people sending me files via email (For one thing, I use pine and it's a bitch to get the pics to where I can view them. For another thing, email was not designed to be conducive to transfering large-ish files, and I'm a purist.), and I'm self centered so I can't see why anyone else would prefer it... so I always put my files on my web server and send urls to people instead of the files to be courteous. Also, in this case, they just happened to already be there.

If I'd known that you would have prefered them sent via email, I'd have done that. Sorry.
