For all of about ten seconds. I was an extra in this movie and it premiered last night at the Whitestone Theater in the Bronx.

I had a lot of fun just as the extra and I kept all the other extras quite entertained. It was a lot of fun being on the set and I think mmyers needs to use me in his next film.

Any of you's (Scotland and England especially) remember a drumming competition that was held in 2000? It was the record for the most amount of drummers drumming at the same time. I took part along with a few of my friends, i got a shit t-shirt at the end of it all. It was called Beat it! i never actually looked it up to see if it's in the book though.

I was on Channel 2 news in Buffalo when I was 6. There was a water crisis in my neighborhood and they filmed the story outside my house with my grandfather and I sitting on the porch. Since this was the days before widespread acceptance of VCRs, my lone television appearance is lost to the ages.

I was interviewed in a free local "arts" publication back in 2000 when I was still making the rock music. The editor of the paper liked my band and gave us a whole page, complete with scary picture of myself attacking a guitar while wearing a fuzzy sweater...

How hard is it to become an extra? They film tons of stuff around my apartment here in the village. I'm usually sitting around gawking anyway, they may as well slap a costume on me and pay me $50.

Len, not hard at all, and if you're realiable and don't give people too much problems, they may make you a featured extra like our man MikeyG. Movie sets aren't that hard to find because they usually have little signs with part of the production's name and an arrow. This is to help the cast and crew find their way. When DrumLine was being filmed here, i almost followed the "DRUM-->" signs and asked if they needed extras (which they almost always do), but decided I made more money at work.

The sad part about being an extra is that it's long, tedious work, where they treat you like cattle and never let you forget it. I was an extra in Road Trip and our day started at 6 AM and went until 1 at night, and I did that for 5 days straight, and most of that time was spent sitting around playing cards and having to listen to people's plans on how they were going to become famous.

Still it's fun if you want to see how movies are made.
