Well, Cindy, you and I are the last man and woman on earth. Now, I know you may not like it, but we have to reproduce to save the species. Technically, we don't have to save the species. There's no moral imperative, I mean. The universe will be just fine without humanity -- or if it won't, so what? Without us around to impose our own particular values, it hardly matters what happens to a meaningless void. So you see, there's no need for us to reproduce. Damn it, are you telling me I wiped out the entire human race for nothing?

I don't find your comic all that funny. It just sets up a situation, which would be okay except that it's not, in itself, a funny situation. It's a situation that has the potential to be funny, but you don't do anything with it. Try inserting something unexpected into it. Have the guy say "So, who wants to play checkers?" Or make the guy (or the girls) gay. Or switch out one of the girls for a duck, then have the guy react to that somehow. Maybe the catgirl is supposed to elicit this effect in your strip, but if so, it doesn't really come across.

once again i'm proud to present the only people on the earth as you may have noticed the two other girls ran off with that penguin that survived so its only us three how handsome was the panguin ill re-populate the earth how about we find that penguin kate then there was two... so...think any vedio games survived

Except for your awful typing and spelling, I'd say it's 300% better. I like the comic.

You may think it's anal, but typing, grammar, and spelling really DO make a difference. Trying to parse your awful finger-diction breaks up the flow of the comic and can ruin the timing. That last comic could be much funnier yet if you'd just retype it.

Oh, and I thought evil_d's comic had funny potential, but the punchline was a little flat. Still better than your first, though.

I think my office is still intact. Let's head over there and get started on the double. Okay, big boy. You've got me right where you want me. What would you like me to do first? Start walking around and collect DNA samples from all the nearby corpses you can find. I'll start reading up on the Chinese cloning research.
