would anyone be interested in a two panel comic competition? we have 1 panel competitions and 3 so it seems like the next logical thing is competitions with 4 panels (1+3 of course). but since thats not possible then the next next logical thing is 2 panel competitions

i thought of an idea for it to make it different from the OPC and FTC. whoever runs it gives one panel but you can either put it first or second

but there doesnt seem to be much interest in a 2 panel competition. i'm glad i took the advice to test the water instead of just starting it and having another dead contest on my hands. that would have given me a complex in addition to herpes simplex

Two panel comics are pretty pointless for a competition, as the humour usually works just as well with 3 panels and a pause. One panel humour is very different though, and the competition was created to encompass that style. There are competitions enough already, and it was never intended for the OPC to run this long anyway, it was more to use since it was a new feature.

i think theres a natural 2 panel rhythm of he says, she says, he responds, 3 dialog baloons. but your right. theres more than enough competitions for the number of people who usually enter
