But seriously, fucks: I think I busted a fake ghost pic wide open, like a pinata filled with ghost goo.
This was posted on ghostpictures.org (which actually encourages fakes):

It's the Nashville War Memorial. I figgered that guy's supposed to be a wounded Confederate soldier (see the sling?), and he came from some historic source photo.
So I Googled "confederate soldier sling" and got this:

I've carefully compared the toy to the ghost, and I think they're one and the same. They got this toy and held it real close to the camera. They either layered it up in PS or double-exposed it.
Most of these ghost pics are just YASP (yet another shitty photo). It was fun to find what might be the source for a deliberate fake.
