Here's a tragic idea, what was the comic for your birthday? Ie, if I take my birthdate in dd/mm/yy , the corresponding comic is this one:

Oh dear. But if I used mm/dd/yy I would get this one:

Which is not much better, although it does contain the line "Come to me evil poster"

Although come to think of it not everyone's birthdate would work out.

Mine wouldn't work. If you have two digits in both the day and month fields, there'd need to be at least a hundred thousand comics.

Well, my prefered method of mm/dd/yy hasn't been written yet, and won't be for another 40000 strips. I did find one for the dd/mm/yy method.
