There are banner ads, but that is it.

go to downloads.com and search for ad-aware, it can delete spyware. Not if you don't have the non-spyware version of kazaa, your kazaa will stop working after using this program, because it doensn't like you if you aren't being it's whore.

A firewall program might do the trick also. I put one in ever since my computer started downloading and installing programs on its own.
