Actually, you're right. I like a few kinda sappy songs. Dio has some pretty sappy songs. I'm listening to "Helloween - In the Middle of a Heartbeat" right now, Demons and Wizards has a couple sappyish songs (Like Fiddler on the Greeen and Path of Glory), and I always tear up just a bit when I listen to They Might Be Giants' "Following an Angel".

TMBG has made it to sappy a couple of times, but I think it's a stretch to call "She's An Angel" sappy. That said, it's one of my favorites, along with "I Can't Fight This Feeling."

I haven't seen Goo Goo Dolls live since 1999. I could care less about what they were singing, you just have to see a close up of Johnny Reznik on the Jumbo Tron to be happy at 16.
