OK I'm back. Chi was about the only SC user I thought who might have been affected, luckily he seems to have nothing more than a case of HowthehelldoIgethomenowitis.
You can read all the details of what happened on one of many internet sites. The untold story is that thousands of people are stranded in various parts of the country as London transport has effectively shut down for the day. My London based friends are looking at several hours to travel home - one has about 11km to walk or cadge a lift. I'm hearing that buses are coming back on but the Tube is off until tomorrow. The economic impact will run into the billions.
And not to mention the 37 deaths and hundreds of injuries. It could have been a lot worse - if a mainline train had been bombed and not an underground train, or if the bombs had been more powerful, you could be looking at hundreds of dead. Mercifully not though.
