If this Comic Cup has taught me one thing, it's never to say that you can't make a comic with a given set of rules.
If it's taught me two things, the second is that when you spend too much effort trying to follow crappy rules, you end up making a comic that sucks.
So what's more important here -- for the contestants to build character, or for the spectators to be amused? Because if I make a comic with this set of rules, you'll be lucky to understand it, much less laugh at it.
Six panels culminating in a joke about vowels, indeed.
What the hell. I'll do it. It won't be funny. Then this long, painful episode in our lives will be over. And hopefully the next Comic Cup will be moderated by someone sober.
