I'm going through with a dare that someone presented to me that I couldn't be "preppy" for a day. After putting my hair in a messy bun, I feel like ripping it out...I'm not wearing any of my eyeliner or normal freakish accessories, and so far, I am surprised as to how shallow people are that they keep telling me that I should dress like this every day. I know it's a compliment, but it doesn't feel like people like me for me. Or something.

I understand what she means. She means that people judge her for her clothes rather than what she is on the inside.

Everyone has their own personal style as far as clothing. Even if its just wearing a t-shirt and jeans every day. Certain styles of clothing feel more comfortable than others. I myself have a preference for 70's ish clothing. She has preference for the freakish clothing. Others have other prefrences. Its just what feels natural.

And are YOU saying that you dont have your own personal style with your clothes? :P

I'm totally wearing this shirt and expression right now

Then for some reason I'm wearing scrub pants. I'm not even in the medical profession.

And clomping around in these ski boots makes me feel like a BAD ASS.

And I find a life vest rounds out any outfit nicely.

Most of the time I just look like my signature image though.
