I'm a little disappointed at the lack of DIC comics lately, especially with all turmoil surrounding the idiots in charge. It almost makes me wish CHUBBY were still around.

After re-reading the previous 6 pages of this thread, it occured to me that maybe folks are scared to make DIC comics for fear of getting shot down by a critic. It's been my experience that nothing pisses off a critic more than drowning them in a tidal wave of stuff that annoys them.

C'mon gang, rise up! Make a DIC comic! Piss off a critic today!

Actually, I've been disappointed lately at my lack of time to criticize, and the lack of comics worthy of criticism. However, the DIC comics are pretty much all exactly the same -- acerbic cheap shots at an easy target -- so there's nothing to say that I haven't already said.

I do have to say, however, that DIC: Remember 9/11 Too is a great idea, although I think it chokes on its own wording. Many of these might be better if you didn't restrict yourself to the one-panel format. It will improve the flow of the comic... break it up so the reader doesn't have it all shoved down his throat at once.
