I thought it was just me when I would watch the Fox news channel or visit the websight and came to the realization that fox was bipartisan, but I guess not. Foxes fair and balanced news coverage has become the focus of a new documentary. This is why I prefer CNN. Check out the trailers on the documentaries website.

The first, and last, time I watched Fox News, some guy said something like "And we have with us today former vice president candidate Geraldine Ferraro, proof that not all liberals are evil. (pause for laughs, because this is a very hilarious joke) Okay, not all liberals are evil, I'm just kidding." This didn't concern me much. But then the guy added on an "No I'm not", and by the way he said it, it sounded very much like when he said "I'm just kidding", everyone who was there live looked at the guy as if he was speaking Japanese, or maybe the producer was giving him the slit-your-throat-with-your-finger.

CNN has always pandered to liberals? That's a joke at best. CNN was not pandering to liberals during the Afghanistan conflict, nor were they pandering to liberals during the initial and several subsequent stages of the Iraq invasion. CNN has never pandered to liberals. At best they have attempted to report the truth, which they aren't even really all that good at.

FOXNews is a joke. Even Simpsons (owned by FOX) makes fun of them. Save for Al Jazeera, they're probably the most ridiculed and least credible news organization in the world.

CNN isn't liberal. They're pussies who give the bare bones of the news and are too intimidated by the Bush administration to ask the tough or really crucial questions. This "liberal bias" shit is such a joke, since the executives of all these news organizations are predominantly conservative.

Thank you, Inflate. I really missed your voice around here. It usually takes a browse through the BBC news for me to find something credible as well. They may not be liberal for the UK, but they definitely give more than the American media does.

CNN is a an organization that MAY have been able to be labelled "slightly liberal" when Ted Turner was involved with it. He is no longer. Either way, they are labelled "liberal" by the "mainstream" media in order to make people think there actually is a viable source of news readily available to them. It really makes it easier for people to be fat and complacent when they THINK there is a true dissenting voice.

Its true that most of the media (except for FOX which is seen as having a conservative slant)is labeled as having a liberal slant. At the same time most of the people that are accusing the media of being "liberal" are conservatives and far right republicans like Rush Limbaugh (racist) and Sean Hannity (asshole). I wouldn't be annoyed with FOXnews reporting so much if they acted a little more professional. For example just watch some of O'reilly (who claims to be a independent but was found out to be a registerd republican since the 90s) past shows. Watch how he cuts off people, tell them to shut up, calls them a idiot. Very professional. Hannity and Colmes is another good example. They put this loud republican bully (Hannity) on with a quiet easy going liberal (Colmes). Colmes doesn't even stand a chance. Hannity attacks anyone against his republican views. Colmes hardly sticks up for anyone and when he does its like one quiet statement. So in the end the whole show becomes one sided. I understand that there is gonna be shows with hosts with a certain view. Thats fine but, most every FOX show just about has a host with a conservative view and they attack, call names, and just plain act unprofessional. As for BBC I haven't watch their news before. Im gonna have to check them out. Anyway I guess the biggest problem is all the media as a whole. We depend on the media so we know whats going on in the world. Alot of people just turn on the tv and believe whats reported and this is how people become misinformed. Maybe one day we will have a truly fair and balanced news station but more in likley not.
