Hey, Brad. It would be need if we could see how our comics are rated. Right now, if our comic isn't in toprated.php, we have no idea what the score is. Could we put a box by each comic to see the score?

We could make it so you could only see the score of your own comics, or anyone's. Or you could make it so that only donors could see scores. But I'm quite curious what the general population thinks are my best.

In addition, it would be cool to add another option to "Display Comic" on the profile.php page. Instead of having to choose a comic or "Always show latest comic," we could also have an option of "show highest rated comic" or "show lowest rated comic" or "show most rated comic" (with the most votes), etc.

Sorry if there's already a thread for this that I missed. But my "Display Comic" idea is original! (I think!)

Does anyone like this idea? I sure do!

I'd love to see how all of my comics are rated. I'm not sure I'd need to see scores on each of my comics, but a "Top 10 Highest Rated Comics For This User" would be great. It could possibly replace the "Last 10 Comics By" list on the info page (which always seemed a bit redundant to me).

The one downside to this is the potential stress on the database server. There's a reason why the top rated page only updates daily. I certainly wouldn't have a problem if the individual user lists were updated in the same way, but only Brad knows if that's feasible.

The Top 10 on the user info page idea was the easiest to implement so I went ahead and did that.

The top rated comics page only displays comics that have more than 3 votes, so the same applies to the user rating pages. This kind of makes the feature suck and not give much good information, but hopefully it'll encourage people to vote more.

The display comic idea is cool but that one would probably hammer the server a bit much. I could probably make it a nightly update with enough thinkin' about it.

After Brad did that, he made a neato little page showing the comics that were on the verge of showing on the toprated page. BigEvilDan, Kaufman, and I went on a rating frenzy and we now have a whole slew of strips on toprated for your consideration.
