I go out of my way to avoid numbers 7 and 14. Once I got $7.14 in change and told them to keep it.
I have to alternate my shampoo and conditioner types/scents/colors. I can't use the same one two days in a row unless I get really grungy during work, then I allow myself to use only a certain one (because it's actually best at getting funk out of hair).
I alphabetize EVERYTHING and arrange the clothes in my closet in spectrum order.
When I eat, I have to evenly alternate between sweet and savory or my mouth feels unbalanced when I'm done.
When I set something down and it makes a pathetic tentative setting-down-noise, I set it down again to make sure it's really down.
There's some things I don't do much of anymore. Partly because of the medication I used to take. I still do it occasionally, but find myself controlling it better. Like when driving, I could only breathe or blink at between spaces. Like the space on a road between two cracks or strips of tar. Or between powerline poles. Or cars. Or grassy areas alongside the road. When I walk, I tend to make sure each foot gets an equal amount of steps in a certain terrain type. Like going from asphalt to dirt, asphalt to sidewalk concrete, grass to concrete, etc. Sometimes it involved skipping a step. I caught myself doing it today in the parking lot. I don't do so much of that anymore. Which is good. Especially when driving on roads that are filled with cracks.
