Usually whenever I run a contest, I don't get many entries and I'm not sure why. I've tried making them fun and challenging, like a game, but got few entries. I've tried making the rules the least restrictive as possible and, again, only a few entries. I'm not sure what the working formula is (or if there is one), but I seem to be missing the mark. 

So I'm putting together a contest that I would find fun:

In this WW, you will be randomly coming out of the closet. It can be to friends, neighbors, strangers, family, the empty void of space, whatever or whoever. Here's what you need to do:

1. Go to Wikipedia and click this link (the "Random Article" link on the left menu)

2. Whatever the article is, you have to come out of the closet about that in your comic (the character can be you or someone/something else.) You may click the random article button up to five times. Whatever the best subject matter is, come out about that.

3. Please be sure to reference the article link along with your posted comic (reference link doesn't have to be in the comic)

I'll judge this thing when I think it's run it's course.

I'm not judging this thing until I get at least 2 more entries.

If no one enters, then I'll post two of my own comics and call myself the winner.

I'll give it some more time with my fingers crossed and see what happens.

brycekain, the reason few people enter is that there's just not that many of us left. shoulda been here 8 years ago. maybe you were. i'm not sure offhand why the user base, at least the donor base, has dropped off so much. might be all that twitter/snapchat/appcrap stuff the kids are doing these days. in my day we used cobol on ibm cards and liked it...

Arbi: Yeah, you're probably right. I was here back then under AtheistDiary, so I remember the "good ol days." Miss them, too, actually. Photoshop Valley was still hopping and no one but a select loyal few knew what the hell stripcrator was. Hopefully with this new influx of people, SC will get going again (though the pessimist in me says "yeah right.")
