I didn't post this in suggestions because I think we'd all like to see new artwork on SC but hey, if it was that easy (or sensible) we'd all be doing it on Brad's behalf - This is a wish list, not a suggestion list.

So:

What artwork would you wish for if you could magic some new characters up today? Or would you wish for something else fantastic to happen to SC, like Brad to get an army of nubile staff to grant all users requests, or for Wirthling to not suck?

To start off I'd wish for Achewood characters.

Then a multiple post prevention filter.

Those Achewood characters are really lame and I for one would never use them.

I've seen over 400 characters that Kadar has drawn that haven't been put up yet. Simply amazing.

But I'm more than happy with the artwork that is currently being provided and would never ask for any changes.

We don't have a toilet.

Hmm, since this is a wishlist I'd ask for a foreground, middle-ground and background. Then we could have characters, on a background in a car! Or we could dress them up or something.

Also while I'm at it,I'd have dexx come round to personally etch me and the main characters in my comics who do exist. Although mine would be slimmer, taller, better endowed and I think I'd look good with glasses...

crabby: Lil' Nephew and Roast beef surely! If Roast Beef was around we could have a character instead of Exploding Dog Stick Man to represent depressed people. Or so I hope. seeing punchlines with nails in head is getting repetetive for me..

Also, yeah, I'd love to see myself inked up in .png form Yeah - George Best t-shirt and combats wearing my US army surplus helmet. No-one would ever use me as a character in a strip but still...

I used to wish for a forumuser character, but that was pretty self-centered.

Now I want a Z_E forumuser character.

Seriously, more PA characters would be cool.

How about getting rid of those lame ass stars and replacing them with middle fingers or something.

I want DH-01 and Devin to have Forumuser charas.

And I want Background back.

1. The comedic effect some people can get with the most limited of characters is amazing sometimes but the more the better.

2. I agree: interior of a car would be good.

3. More variations on the forum users charcters, since they tend to get used by others a lot.

4. An Andydougan charcter. Would feature packet-of-digetives and look as if he had just shagged Kajun's ma.

5. Retirement of asian girls as default characters. New default characters to be stick people to promote creativity.

How do different defualt characters promote creativity? If you don't want to use them change them. They're defualt. I mean seriously what the fuck is the big deal? EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS SOME NEWBIE COMES AROUND SAYING CHANGE THE DEFAULT CHARACTERS. NO! NO! NO! Why would anyone even consider something so stupid. The defualt characters make no difference. Do you never change the characters you use in your comics? Do you only fature the defualt characters or something? Lets stop wasting our time with something so trivial.

Speaking of which I really think it's time to get rid of those fruitey stars that show new forum posts.

I don't think changing the default characters will promote creativity. Noobs are noobs; you could tell them exactly what to put in each panel and they'd still screw it up and make it unfunny.

But on the default characters thing, if it were me, I'd dump the characters altogether and leave it nice and blank. Actually, that would probably do better to promote jes's goal than his own suggestion :-P , unless noobs are THAT dumb.
