NeoVid, I've voted for several handfuls of your strips long before the writing of this post. It's just that apparantly nobody else besides me has. :p Not trying to kick you out of your own club or anything. Actually I've gone through several people's catalogues who happen to be on my favorites list and rated bunches of their strips. I think more people should do this. It's loads of fun.

Oh, in case you didn't know, it seems like only strips that have at least four votes are displayed on the list. Therefore even if I went through and rated every single one of someone's strips "good," the strips wouldn't make it onto the list unless at least three other people had voted before me. That's why I think it would be extra cool for people to just go through and vote... the "top rated" page is awfully boring now that no new strips ever make it on, and it seems like the majority of people really only seem to want to vote for the "classic" strips that spawned a fad.

This is just in case you were thinking I'd voted every one of your strips "bad" or something.

We understand perfectly, Drexle. I doubt that I'd like to go through my wad of comics to find the three good ones. But it would allow me to get a good night's sleep for a change if I knew which ones those were.

Personally, I think it's a good idea that it takes several votes to get on the list. But the good point is also a drawback, since people have to remember a strip and then go and purposely vote for it. I'm still amazed that The Really Predictable Adventures of Captain Obvious and The Ducks Only Club aren't on the list.

Also, there's the fact that we could all turn out to have totally different senses of humor, even if we want to get more strips on the list. I've been rereading the CCs, since I don't have enough time to look through anybody's entire archive.

Hmmm... I just thought, has anyone's signature comic (yknow, the one that shows first on your My Comics) gotten on the list? I was just wondering if we're all totally ineffective at judging how funny we are.

I've been changing my sig comic a lot lately, since it seems to me that that's the comic people are most likely to vote on.

It's probably because I keep changing my sig comic too...or because I rarely advertise my comics in the forums except for contest entries.

Personally I'd like to see a list of highest rated strips in my profile. Maybe make the last 10 comics list into 5 and make a 5 highest rated comics list with the number of votes and rating. That might entice some people to vote, if nothing else maybe they'll at least look at them.
