I'm amazed that some of you folks are still posting here!  Kinda nice to see at least some of the old crew still hanging around.

WoW distracted me for a while, Reddit pulled me away, and overall between work and just kinda forgetting to drop by, I haven't been on here much these days.

I feel like making a comic, but not much is pissing me off lately, so my source of creativity has been slightly lost.  I guess the last year and a half should have provided a lot of material, but I never really wanted to sit down and make anything most of the time. 

Anyway, glad to see you folks're still kicking!

I wouldn't eat a fish taco anywhere outside of the US west coast or Mexico.  I've had Mexican food in London, but that was only out of extreme homesickness when I lived there.  I certainly didn't have Mexican food on any of my subsequent visits.

I was in Belgium two years ago and two Americans were sitting next to me at a bar, drinking margaritas and discussing how authentic they were compared to the ones they had at a different bar the night before.  Ugh.

Please come to San Diego and taste our fish tacos. Where I live, I have access to about 5-10 taco shops with exceptional fish tacos. All within fifteen minutes travel time or less. I'm sure choad is in a similar situation.

I've lived in California all my life and never have even tried a fish taco.  Not because I'm not adventurous, but because I absolutely loathe fish.  Shrimp tacos on the other hand?  Awesome.

I actually ate at a Wahoo's today.  The bf and I were starving at South Coast Plaza in OC and that seemed like the fastest thing we could eat there.  I used to go there regularly for lunch and would have their blackened fish salad.  I'd rather go to a dive taco shop if I'm in search of fastfood tacos or burritos, though, instead of a chain like Wahoo's or Rubio's

I used to work a UPS route at Sun Coast back in 06 or 07. Live outside of Riverside now. Small world. :)

What's your go-to taco place these days, Matchy?  I'm loving me some Puesto down at the Headquarters and Tacos Perla, which you can get delivered to your barstool at Modern Times in North Park.

My two go-to places is Jalapenos in Carmel Mt. and Alvarros in Saber Springs. If I drink too much at Green Flash Brewery which is almost every time, I go to Vallartas off of Mira Mesa.

Ugh. Modern Times City of The Sun and Blazing World are two of my favorite IPAs. Also love their Black House!

As you can see, I did not take your multiple suggestions to kill myself after my transgression of making an offhand joke about raunchy-sounding football terms. Don't worry, it wasn't for lack of trying. I just found it more enlightening to channel my energy into morphing into a giant spider and devouring small children so I could pose them at the dinner table, forever anticipating the joy of breakfast and good old fashioned Midwestern values.

Previous comic cups were ran with a 48 hour deadline. Given how infrequently people check the site these days, if we'd done that half the rounds would have had people disqualified.

Time to kick this thread in the nuts and wake it up.

I wasn't here for the earliest days, but things were still chugging along nicely when I joined. Kaufman was his punny self more often. Kajun might make a forum comment or three. Boingy was still around, or was it boingy33? -- something like that.

I managed to graft onto jes_lawson and The Governor and we swapped soooooooo much music it probably was illegal. :) I love choadwarrior, and I'm glad he has a boyfriend.

I was here and had front-row seats for the crabby, boorite, ivytheplant fiasco. It was literally a he said, she said, he said kind of deal, and it didn't help the camaraderie around here. I'm not blaming anyone; it just happened and probably would have happened, anyway.

After that, life took over, and I drifted away to other interests and other sites: The Kingdom of Loathing took up a lot of time early on. Fantasy sports have kept me busy for quite a while. Lately, I've been hanging around imgur and reddit.

And now I'm back here. Nothing much has changed except the people, but I'm glad that some of the old-timers are still around. Amazingly, I still remembered my password when I put my fingers on the keyboard. So, here I am -- like it or lump it.
