Too much coffee man... hmmm... I remember that from the days of... what's it called... that flat white stuff...
Anyways, just like to say I hate most comics I see in print today, especially the posers who get printed in alternative weeklys. Stuff like Perry Bible and Johnny Ryan's shitty Bluckerella and all that Kaz bullshit might have it's moments on ultra rare occassions, but more consistently it's lame-ass gags coupled with shitty artwork.
I actually compared the stuff in the alternatives to what the Oregonian had, and, to my great shock, found Garfield and Mutts was actually funnier. I haven't thought Garfield was funny for fifteen years, but by comparison... sheesh.
I suggest to you all to cut the gordian knot, spare yourself Garfield and the alternatives, and go buy an ultra cheap collection of Zippy comics from the seventies or some Mr. Natural Comics or Twentieth Century Eightball or a collected TMCM.
Then take this load of funny, go sit on the toilet, and have yourself a nice bowel movement for once.
