Has anyone else noticed that in the cut scenes the characters tend to use hand movements far to much!? Even when they say hello it looks like they're doing a Karate Chop to an invisible object?

Then, a 5k run before breakfast, karate chopping each other as they run.

Then breakfast.

Then having to karate chop breakfast.

Then having to karate chop a 5000 word essay onto blocks of wood. The essay is titled: "Karate chops = Metal Gear. 100% true. "

Later, to chill out, they attend some performance art, where the artist makes them stand for 6 hours, karate chopping themselves.
