Don Adams of Maxwell Smart and Inspector Gadget fame died on Sunday of a lung infection. Probably one of the funniest men of the 20th century. I used to love Get Smart when I was a kid, hell, I still love it to this day. And I don't think there's anyone here under 25 who didn't watch Inspector Gadget as a kid.

Kind of a bummer that he died before the Get Smart movie got released... and he was alive to see the Inspector Gadget movies get released...

Sad news from Hollywood tonight. The cone of silence has lowered on 1960's TV star Don Adams. Seems like 86 only lived to be 82. CONTROL yourself. Do you think he ever got to 69 with 99? Sorry about that, Chief.

I did watch Inspector Gadget as a kid and it wasn't until I was older that I realized that it was basically just a ripoff of Get Smart (which is ironic when you think about it). Anyway, he was awesome. He will be missed.
