Okay -- and this is only because my baby is sick and I feel all mom-like today. Kajun's probably my closest friend here. He instant messages me at work so I don't have to be so bored, and puts a little sunshine in my day. Sappy, no? I'm really glad I had a chance to meet Ivy, boorite, and jes at my wedding. To those of you who didn't come, nanner nanner. I'm also happy to have such a great stripper in my own hometown that I can meet up with whenever I want (Scyess, this means you). Provided his schedule is open to it, that is. I think everyone else here is totally cool, which is why I wanted us all to meet up next year. I'm hoping to meet crabby (finally) when I go to the job interview (still haven't heard anything, cross your fingers harder!). Okay, that's enough sentimental crap. You guys genuinely are a unique group. I don't think any other webcommunity around is as diverse and yet so together as what this one is.

Oh yeah, and I'm grateful for all the teenagers here because they like getting my motherly advice.

Now that attitudechicka's set the precedent, I can put out an open call and invite all SC members available to my wedding to fill my side of the church. My pool of invitees is painfully small, since I'm rather estranged from most of my extended family and a lot of my friends (though I love them like family) are not people I want mingling with my fiancee's family. It would be like playing with matches while soaked in gasoline.
