Christmas (Holiday time for you PC folks) is tough on all our wallets.

Possibly more hard on Brad who is running this site.

I didn't see anything about this anywhere, and it would be gauche of him to suggest himself, so that is why I as a humble user am doing it.

While I am by no means 'most popular', I would like to ask that you at least consider my humble suggestion.

While I am sure donations are appreciated all the time, I would like to see if there is any interest in several of us who have donated some already to give 10 more dollars donation just as a Christmas present?

If interested reply. If you want to 'insult kaenash' do it one of the other 100 threads, and lets keep it civil, okay?

My intention is just to do a nice gesture for SC as I really enjoy the site and I think personally that it is warranted, regardless of what your giving situation is in the past. That is the entire idea here.

Due to the fact that, indeed, Christmas time and all of it's appurtenant expenses are camping out on my bank account like Snoopy doing his "vulture" schtick, I shall be sending Brad some dough in the spring.

I don't donate often, I admit (only once, so far) but I think it was enough to keep the lights on the T-10/100 blinking for a good while.

I plan to donate the same, next year.

Happy Creased M0ose/Hanukka/Kwanzaa/Festivus.. or,whatever you got.

I know you asked non participants to stay out of this thread, but here's how I see it:

1. You want to donate, donate. It doesn't have to be a public thing.

2. By creating this thread, it seems, to me, like you're trying to show some kind of superiority to us because even though times are tight, you're sending brad money.

3. Publicizing it isn't going to gain you anything and making people who have less than no money feel even worse isn't helping anything either. Keep your donations to yourself.

i think his stated intent was genuine - he likes the site and was trying to organize a mini-fundraiser. maybe also ingratiate himself to the community since he got off to a rocky start

I would be willing to donate $20 if Brad promised to ban kaenash. If we all make this same pledge we will never have to hear any of his pedophile ramblings about how he's colored in characters or read any of his other lame threads ever again. Its a very worthy cause people and I think we should all let Brad know that we want to make this happen.

Yeah... while stripcreator is something good to give to (I know I haven't given nearly enough as I should), there are charities that could use the money more in this season. 10 bucks toward the Salvation Army would probably be better than 10 bucks towards SC (no offense), but if it hurts you that badly, giving 5 dollars to both causes can be just as good.
